ClimaCool™
Face the adventure with ClimaCool™. The Elevation Climacool™ utilizes
cutting edge ventilation technology that keeps vision fog free and the
path ahead a clear and safe one. Keep ventilated.
ClimaCool™ Technology: ClimaCool technolgy by adidas is a dynamic
ventilation technology. The ClimaCool technology for eyewear (made
up of the specially engineered vents on the pad) allows for air to be
directed in a way that does not disturb the eyesight but rather manages
moisture and prevents fogging providing a more comfortable wear
throughout.
ClimaCool™ Function: The ClimaCool technology is about maintaining
a high grade of ventilation and with that keeps moisture out. This
functions as the specially engineered vents allow air to enter in an
influenced direction and channeled out again evaporating any moisture.
The angled vents all round the pad allow for the air to be directed to
the points where lenses would normally fog first. Further, ClimaCool
technology works when the eyewear is both in motion and stationary. This
means lenses are always kept fog-free and concentration dedicated to the
challenge ahead.
Double Snap Nose Bridge™:
To optimize the resting position the Double-Snap Nose Bridge™ provides
double level height adjustment of the nose bridge to suit the individual
wearer. The Double-Snap Nose Bridge™ is also made of a non-slip, soft
material give the secure and comfortable feel. Extended nose
version available.
TRI.FIT™ Temple:
Fit is vital and that's why the 3 level height adjustment adapts by 8°
to find the optimum fit for each wearer. Additionally, this unique
and exclusive feature of adidas eyewear compensates for the angle of
incidence of light rays, thereby eradicating the dazzling effects caused
by these rays.
SPX™ Flexibility:
SPX™, and extra light, break-proof material with unbeatable durability
is resistant to extreme temperatures as well as providing the all
necessary flexibility. Flex Zones™ incorporated into the SPX™
frame give extra flexibility allowing the eyewear to stretch and adapt
to wearer's head width.
Grip Systems:
Traction Grip™ consists of a soft yet gripping material integrated into
the temples of the eyewear providing an optimum non-slip, pressure free
and stable fit. Ribbed Grip System on temples provides a secure
yet pressure feel fit keeping eyewear in place.
Head Strap:
For those particularly arduous moments when you are balancing with
gravity, a head strap can be used to replace the temples. This provides

Lens:
Decentered lens technology enables adidas eyewear to utilize
extremely curved lenses while still providing distortion free vision,
that being paramount to an athlete's performance.
Quick Change Lens System™:
Simple, fast but sturdy lens changing feature enabling wearer to adapt
adidas eyewear to all lighting and weather conditions. No adidas
eyewear user need ever be caught out by changing light conditions with
numerous lens tints available in the range.
Wrap-Around View:
The extensive curvature provides for the widest field of vision as well
as optimum protection of the eye area. The wrap around technic also
gives the sung fit and assurance the eyewear will not dismount.
Performance Insert™:
Optical inserts that are easily inserted into the eyewear. Ideal for
those needing optical correction but not the hassle of contact lenses.
The Performance Insert is also easily removed when required.
Ventilation System:
The ventilation system incorporates technological design of
strategically placed air vents built in to the frame design. This keeps
the appropriate amount of air passing through yet an amount that is not
intrusive or disturbing to the eyes. Further supporting the ventilation
system is an anti-fog lens coating (selected models).
Vision Advantage™ PC Lens:
The polycarbonate lenses provide 100% UV protection from harmful rays.
Additionally the lenses are scratch-resistant avoiding any marks that
would interfere with sight. In case of an accident, lenses can withhold
strong impact forces and by this keep the eyes protected. The
anti-fog coating on the lenses (selected models) ensure that clear
vision is maintained throughout.
Sweat Blocker:
A detachable sweat blocker prevents sweat from running down into the
eyes and obscurring vision. Easily removed and replaced when needed.
Quick Release Hinge™:
Rather than the frame getting damaged, the temples release under
exertion of impact force. This patented release mechanism for the temple
hinges free the frame from possible strain or breakage. The
temples are easily and quickly reinserted. The Quick-Release
Hinge™ additionally allows for temples to be removed and replaced by
straps that accompany certain models. The straps provide an even further
secure eyewear fit as needed in adventure sports.
